INTRODUCTION

The Kubota U55-5 Series is a tight tail swing excavator that brings great versatility to any jobsite. Its well-balanced design combines great power and comfort to handle tough jobs and tougher working conditions.

Features

Spacious & comfortable Cab
With new interior designs, the cabs offer improved comfort for operators of any size. The designs feature a slimmer, more ergonomically positioned right meter panel, a double adjustable seat and greater head and foot space. The result is more room and greater comfort for the operator, and that means improved productivity on the job. As part of the new design, the cab is now equipped with a seat with a slide that can be double-adjusted to improve comfort. The joystick consoles on the left and right sides of the seat also can be adjusted independently of the seat to match individual operator requirements. An optional air suspension seat is also available for additional comfort.individual operator requirements.
New stage V engine
Exceed Tier IV Final parameters with Auto Idle and superior performance. This new direction-injection engine comes equipped with clean engine technology for easier maintenance.
Enhanced LCD screen
A full-colour 7” LCD screen provides a quick look into all the crucial information and data you need to operate the U55-5 at a higher level. It’s also easy-to-use with access to functions like AUX flow adjustment and more!
Easy to service
A fully opening bonnet and optimum arrangement of internal parts allow quick and efficient service and shorter downtime. The U55-5 also features a two-piece hose design to reduce replacement by 60%.
Angle blade option
The angle blade provides easier trench backfilling, and the float position provides better back grading.
Adjustable/proportional aux oil flow
The max oil flow settings of both circuits are conveniently adjustable from the LCD panel — no additional tools or manual procedures necessary. Program up to five oil flow rates corresponding to specific attachments.
Advanced features
Employ features like LED light delay turn off for added operator safety, keyless start, and a radio ready configuration. Plus, this unit is rearview camera ready for added visibility.

For example, if you purchase the 1,000 hour Planned Maintenance package, it includes regularly scheduled maintenance for the initial 50 hour maintenance, 250 hour maintenance and 500 hour maintenance service.
